Winter notes
While certainly a unique Winter, with not much snow, we enjoyed visits from family, and one of our granddaughters, Kate, moved here to help out on the farm. We are grateful to have her, and so are the animals. SHE LOVES ANIMALS. We revamped our cheese packaging so all our cheeses are now wrapped in beautiful, breathable paper that keeps them fresh and flavorful. As we are milking 7 cows now, our cheese inventory is growing, and we are excited for the coming months as we begin offering new cheeses alongside our seasonal events.
At the Farmers Market in Sandpoint this summer, we will be selling cheese by weight and wrapping each piece in our new paper. We will also be offering grilled cheese sandwiches, so be sure to stop by the market and say hi!
We have some new chocolates in the Farm Store; they are the best chocolate available, and all are sweetened with coconut sugar. We also have a sweet basket with Easter treats, including crocheted chicks by Kate, which will be a welcome addition to any basket.
We know Spring is around the corner, and we are currently still enjoying bouts of snow, rain, slush, and hail!
Our little dog Scout passed on this past week, and we miss her. She kept us all going with her endless enthusiasm for just about everything. Our labs aren’t quite sure what to do without their little buddy.
We hope to see you on the farm at this year's events, and thank you for your ongoing support of our artisan family creamery.
